Mrs. Raylene Riddick-Robinson, 55, of Arlington, VA (formerly of Frederick, MD), went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2014. She is the daughter of Sarah Boyd and the late Maurice Boyd Sr. of Frederick, MD.\n\nRaylene attended Frederick County Public Schools and was employed by the Arlington Public School system. She was lovingly called "the black Marilyn Monroe" because of her beautiful smile that would light up the room. The neighborhood kids called her, "ice cream lady" because she would supply them with ice cream during those warm summer months. All who knew Raylene knows that she was a "sweetheart" and would do anything for anybody. One the proudest moments of her life, Raylene accepted the gift of salvation and gave her life to Jesus Christ. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.\n\nRaylene is survived by her husband of 28 years, Michael Robinson; two sisters, Katherine Boyd-Christian (Jerome) of Hagerstown, MD and Sharon Thomas of Frederick, MD; four brothers, Don Boyd of Frederick, MD, Maurice Boyd of Hagerstown, MD, Kenneth Boyd (Mary) of Athens, GA, and Chris Randolph of Hagerstown, MD; god son, Anthony Lewis; three sisters-in-law, Cheyanne McBride (Jerry), Bonnie Haley (Cecil), Donnie Hamilton (Ray); five brothers-in-law, Johnny Duncan (Florine), Frank Duncan (Denise Dentley), Donald Duncan (Chevon), Richard Duncan (Ruby), and Frank Beasley. Raylene was loved by many, including her numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members. \n\nShe was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Robinson; two sisters, Marlene Foreman and Geneva Boyd; brother, Michael Boyd; sister-in-law, Roslyn Duncan; and great niece, Riana Boyd.\n\nServices will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 101 W. All Saints St., Frederick, MD. Public viewing is at 9 a.m., the family will receive friends at 10 a.m., and the funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Rev. Ronald Simmons, officiating.
