Abraham Harrison

–

Hagerstown, Maryland

Abraham Abdullah Harrison was born to Ronald D. Harrison and Abracena Jeanette Harrison, on Saturday, July 27, 1985, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Abraham departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

Abraham was affectionately known as "Abe" or "Ham" by his family and friends. At an early age, Abraham was known for key characteristics that carried with him throughout his life; manners and respect for his elders, his charm, and his uncanny ability to process numbers and stats in his head. While everyone else is looking for a calculator, pencil and paper, Abraham has already given the correct answer. At an early age Abraham had a passion for sports and competition. From his time as a Dodger with Baltimore City Parks and Recreation to his self determination to teach himself how to play and master the game of chess. Abraham was educated through the Baltimore City Public School System and obtained his Diploma on April 16, 2011. With Abraham's charm and innate intellect, he utilized his talents to help others with an entrepreneurial mindset weather it's educating people on the stock market or assisting others applying for entitlements, some of his family members appointed Abraham as the family & community unofficial social worker.

Later in life Abraham attended Strayer University in the pursuit for his Bachelors in Business Management. He prided himself in using multiple resources to remain abreast on politics, and social matters that effected the Black Community. He is well known for his work in voter education and empowerment, most recently working with the Mfume for Congress campaign. Abe also prided himself in his work and abilities as a Sue Chef in many of Baltimore's hotspot restaurants. No matter the working environment he is known for always smiling and putting smiles on the faces of others.

Abraham leaves to cherish many fond memories, his loving and devoted mother, Abracena J. Carter (Karl); sisters, Chantel Clea Goins and Brittany Maranda Harrison; brother-in-law, Lafayette; nephews; Nathan Goins, Gabriel Harrison Hunter, and Edison Goins; Honorary Grandmother, (Great-Aunt) Sarah L.
