Amya Renee Cann Obituary (2018

Amya Renee Cann passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was born on Friday, August 24, 2018 to Gezil Cann. Besides her mother, Amya is survived by: her sister, Za'Niyah Wooten; grandmother, Stephanie Boyce of Hagerstown, MD; great-grandmothers, Deborah Boyce and Gloria Jean Ray, both of Frederick, MD; uncles, Desmond Cann and Tiarelle Charles Cann, both of Frederick, MD; aunts, Courtney Cann Morgan and Crystal Boyce, both of Frederick, MD; and a host of close and extended family. Amya was preceded in death by: her grandfathers, Frederick "Bubba" Cann, Gregory Ray and Melvin Boyce, Sr.; and aunt, Zhane Cann. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home, 110 West South Street, Frederick, MD at 11:00 AM, with a wake and family hour beginning at 10:00 AM. Service will be officiated by Andrew Sewell.
