Angela “Angie” Keyes Rollins, 61, of Hagerstown, MD, departed this life on Sunday, March 9, 2025. She was the faithful wife of John E. Rollins Sr., 31 years married and 44 years together. From their union came a daughter, Eboni, and a son, Eric.
Angela was a lifelong member of King’s Apostle Church International, Inc., diligently serving in the Greater Campher Temple and Kingdom Life Cathedral Ministries, Inc. churches. Affectionately known as Ma Angie or Sis. Angie, Angie loved the Lord and loved her church community.
Angie is a 1981 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She was a June 2016 graduate of the Lamplighter College of Theology. Angie was employed with Citicorp/First Data for 34 years retiring in 2019.
In January 2020, Angie received an incredible blessing: she became a minority business owner of Applause Caterers. Her "love language" was cooking for the people she cared about. Becoming a business owner was a gift from the Lord and an opportunity she could not pass up.
Angie loved to shop. Not many stores in the DMV were strangers to Angie. She shopped three-five times a week. Hagerstown, Frederick, Baltimore, Pennsylvania and Virginia were in her monthly routine. If there was a mall or food store, she was shopping.
Angie leaves to cherish her memory her: husband, John; daughter, Eboni; son, Eric; granddaughter, Makayla Ann; three grandsons, Malachi, Makeal, and Micah, all of Hagerstown, MD; five siblings, Norma Jean (Michael), Kenneth (Geri), Jerome (Debbie), Sharon, and Rodney (Judy); mother-in-law, Dorothy Rollins; in-laws, James "Rucky" (Arlene), Melba (Kenneth), Sherry, Gary (Denise), and Karen (Jovanne); many special relationships with family members and friends, including special cousin/sister, Phyllis Davis, and cousin/son, Darrell Davis (Maria); bonus son, Craig Wheatley (Tracey); godson, Jamel "Bud" Keyes; goddaughter, Alexis Shaffer; the "Golden Girls" (thank you for being her friend); and an uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and employees.
