Arielle Elizabeth Brown died unexpectedly at home in Clarksburg, Maryland at age 23 on October 6, 2018. She was born in Stony Brook, Long Island, New York on June 21, 1995. She moved to Maryland at age 5. She attended Bethesda Country Day School and Ashburton Elementary before moving to Clarksburg, Maryland and graduating from the Clarksburg High School. At the time of her death she was employed by the Banfield Animal Hospital. \n\nArielle made numerous friends wherever she went. She was especially protective of children with developmental disabilities. She loved the outdoors and utilized the beautiful parks and lakes in Clarksburg for her enjoyment with friends and her dog Mimzy. Her friends arranged a beautiful vigil in Blackhill Park to celebrate her life at sunset on Wednesday, October 10th. This was such a beautiful event, where it was evident that Arielle was a compassionate, kindhearted and loyal friend. \n\nShe enjoyed candles, aromatherapy and crystal therapy like her mother. She also enjoyed traveling with her aunt Jackie to many places including Jamaica, and the many children's camps she participated in with the National Dental Association. She was an ardent reader and writer. She had a very good voice. There are many other wonderful aspects of Arielle's life and many ways she touched our lives. She will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, niece and extraordinary friend. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Jennifer; aunts, Jackie (Hyacinth), Fay, Yvonne; uncle, Paul; numerous cousins; other relatives; and many friends. \n\nShe was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, aunt Sonia, and beloved dog, Mimzy. May her memories live in all of us who knew Arielle and participated in the highs and lows of her short life. May God continue to hold her in his hands. \n\n"Her wings were ready but our hearts were not."\n\nFuneral Services will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Cedarbrook Community Church, 23700 Stringtown Road, Clarksburg, MD 20871 at 11:00 AM.
