Bernard Outerbridge "Ricky" Morris, Jr., 54, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was born December 13, 1960, in Frederick, MD, to Connie Bell Morris and the late Bernard Outerbridge Morris, Sr. \n\nRicky attended Brunswick High School in Brunswick, MD, and worked for Titus Refuse for over 30 years. You could always find a smile on his face and a hearty laugh to follow. Ricky loved football and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed watching westerns, "Gunsmoke" which was his favorite. You could always hear Ricky making wise cracks about the infamous burial ground called "Boot Hill" (those who watch "Gunsmoke" know this reference).\n\nUnfortunately Ricky did not marry nor have any children. He is survived by his mother, Connie Bell Morris; five sisters, Natalie Roxanne Bright, Patti Renee Morris, Melissa Anne Morris, Tracey Melinda Rollins (Adrian), and Trina Anne Hanna; three brothers, Gregory Andrew Morris, Steven Christopher Morris (Vanessa), and Leonard Anthony Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased in death by his father, Bernard Outerbridge Morris, Sr.; one brother, Bobby Steven Morris; and one sister, Saundra Jean Green.\n\nServices will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Strong Tower Christian Church, 467 W. Patrick Street, Frederick, MD, with a family hour at 10 a.m. and the memorial service at 11 a.m. Pastor Rex R. Bowens, Sr. will officiate. The family will receive friends for a repast at Mountain City Lodge #382, 173 W. All Saints Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
