Clayman Smith, Sr.

Clayman E. Smith, Sr. was born on March 8,1938 to Lloyd and Myrtle Smith. He was the husband of the late Ida Smith. Clayman peacefully transitioned on August 18, 2025, at Frederick Crossing of Journey Nursing Home.

He leaves loving memories of devoted children, Calleen Carter (Gregory Carter), Joan Spencer (Jackie Spencer), Clayman Smith, Jr. (Tammy Smith), and Veronica Rollins; brother, Chris Smith; and sister, Virgie Dorsey. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Smith; and other siblings who have passed on.
