Corey Lynell Lee

Corey Lynell Lee, 30, of Frederick, MD, died Monday, September 8, 2014. He was born on April 7, 1984, to Teresa (Annie) Lee and Devon Johnson.

Corey graduated from Frederick High School, Class of 2002. He was employed by Il Forno Pizzeria, Frederick, MD. Cory was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers football team. He enjoyed playing poker, riding jet skis, and sharing jokes with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving family: mother, Teresa Lee of Frederick, MD; father, Devon Johnson of Georgia; brother, Demitruis Lee of Frederick, MD; daughter, Phoenix Lee of Frederick, MD; girlfriend, Sarah Eaton of Frederick, MD ; stepson, Demontrez (Bubba) Goines of Frederick, MD; maternal grandmother, Mary Lee of Frederick, MD; maternal aunts, Tina Biggus, Karen Lee, Natalie Lee, Caroline Northern and husband Reggie; maternal uncle, Earl Lee and wife Mari; niece, Suraya Lee of Frederick, MD; paternal aunt, Dana Washington of Harrisburg, PA; several cousins; Godmother, Dorothea Bowie; and several other devoted friends.

Corey was preceded in death by: maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Rita Lee; paternal grandmother, Alice Johnson; and paternal great-grandparents, Lawrence and Isadora Johnson.

The service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at International Community Church, 123 Byte Drive, Frederick, MD. Public viewing begins at 9 a.m., the family will receive friends at 10 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
