David Lewis Henderson, Jr., formerly of Jefferson, MD, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at his home. Born in Frederick, MD on September 23, 1980, he was the son of the late David Lewis Henderson, Jr., and Pauline Weedon Henderson.\r\n\r\nDavid, Jr., grew up in Burkittsville and attended Valley Elementary and Brunswick High School. David worked with his Dad on many jobs. He will always be remembered for his big hugs and smile. He will be greatly missed.\r\n\r\nDavid is survived by two nephews, Erik and Deaundre; two nieces, Shantae and Aliyah; great nephew, Easton of Frederick, MD; four uncles, Roy Henderson, Jr., of Burkittsville, MD, Daniel Henderson, Sr., and Pat of Hagerstown, MD, Van Allen Henderson and Sue of Frederick, MD, and Richard Henderson and Bonnie of Petersville, MD; three aunts, Hilda Smith of Pleasantville, NJ, Virginia King and Thomas of Hagerstown, MD, and Edith Weedon of Knoxville, MD; and great aunt, Virginia Simms of Burkittsville, MD. David, Jr. also leaves to cherish his memory: Sharon Smothers, who was like a mother to him, and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his: sister, Tracy Weedon King; two aunts, Betty Jane Weedon and Mary Henderson; and uncle, Charles Weedon.
