David Eugene Scott also known as Dodayah Yahyl Scott, 52, of Baltimore, was called home on September 19, 2018 at Northwest Hospital after a brief illness. He was born June 7, 1966 to Ellen Scott Tubaya and Joseph W. Parker, Jr. \n\nDavid graduated from Frederick High School and loved to sketch and draw. He was excellent at it and expressed himself through his artwork. He also found a skill in drawing blueprints. David was an avid chess player and won most of the time. \n\nDavid showed his loving spirit through the Living Legacy donor program, where his love and kindness will continue to live and help someone else. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. \n\nDavid leaves behind to cherish his memory: a devoted son, David Scott of Baltimore, MD; special siblings, Michael Parker, of Baltimore, MD and Sylvia Parker of Delaware, PA; devoted friend, Zenobia Scott; and a host of family and friends. David also leaves to mourn his memory several siblings, whom he loved with all his heart. \n\nFuneral services will be Friday, September 29, 2018 at Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD 21703 at 11:00 a.m., with wake/public viewing at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive visitors from 10 - 11 a.m. Elder Eric Rollins officiating.
