Donele Lynn Bowens Obituary (1974

Donele Lynn Bowens, 39, of Hagerstown, MD, formerly of Frederick, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Donele was born December 3, 1974. He was the son of Cynthia Bowens and Sherman Weedon. Donele was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by: two sons, Brandon Boyer and Elijah Bowens; three sisters, Cheneal Dorsey, Sade Bowens and Ashley Wedon; two brothers, Dwayne Bowens and Sherman Weedon Jr.; grandparents Roosevelt and Mary Weedon; stepmother Candance Weedon; and former wife Cheryl Myers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD. A public viewing will begin at 9 a.m., the family will receive friends at 10 a.m., and services will begin at 11 a.m. Rev. Rex Bowens officiating. .
