Donnie "Blink" Stewart Hall, of Frederick, MD, died peacefully at his home on Monday, May 9, 2016, after an extended illness. He was born on November 23, 1951, in Frederick, MD, to the late Alma S. Perkins and John F. Morrison.\n\nBlink attended Frederick High School and was employed by the Frederick Painting Company for many years. He was a loyal and dedicated member of Mountain City Lodge #382 for over 40 years and was always eager to assist with the many events and activities held at the Lodge. He loved listening to "oldies but goodies", singing along with Sunday morning gospel on WHUR, was an avid Redskin fan, and enjoyed watching all sports on television. \n\nDonnie had an easy going personality and enjoyed life to its fullest. Never one to complain he was caring and compassionate and always put others before him. His daughters were the love of his life and he was totally devoted to them.\n\nHe is survived by three loving daughters, Jacquelyn Ricketts, Charnett Hall and Jamaica Hall, all of Frederick, MD; three grandchildren, Kaleem Ricketts, Lizara Hall and Jamaiure Hall, all of Frederick; stepfather, William C. Perkins, Hercules, CA; five sisters, Jonnieta "Pinky" F. Hall (Thomas), Marlynn "Patty" Hall (Jack), Shirleen Bowie, Barbara Bowie (Bobby), and Ruthann Edwards, all of Frederick, MD; seven brothers, Kirk J. Hall (Delores), Frederick, MD, Richard "Ricky" D. Hall (Judy), Bowie, MD, John C. Hall (Darlene), Decatur, GA, Jeffrey Bowie, Barry Bowie, Jerry Bowie, and Glen Bowie, all of Frederick, MD; five aunts, Judy Hall Smith, Gaithersburg, MD, Shirley M. Hall, Sandra "Susie" Hall, both of Frederick, MD; Ervine L. Makel, Sanger, TX, and Sandy L. Hall, Harve de Grace, MD; two uncles, Karl E. Hall and Kenneth E. Hall (Helen), both of Frederick, MD; one great uncle, Charles "Duke" Wars, Sr. (Edith) of Frederick, MD; one great aunt, Hattie Wars, Frederick, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.\n\nHe was preceded in death by one sister, Annette Bowie; two brothers, Sherman Hall and Dougie Brown, Jr.; and grandparents, John L. and Edith Jackson and Mary Margaretta Hall and Neal Stevenson Hall, Jr.
