Doris Jackson

Doris Elizabeth Jackson, 69, of Frederick, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Sun., Sept. 20, 2015. Doris was born Oct. 26, 1945, in Frederick, MD, to the late Charles and Elizabeth Jackson.

Doris graduated from Lincoln High School and retired from the Maryland School for the Deaf. She most recently worked for The Record Street Home. Over the years, Doris opened her heart and home to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three loving sons, Michael Jackson, Atlanta, GA, Steven Jackson, Hagerstown, MD, and Darnell Jackson, Frederick, MD; one sister, Carolyn Glenn, Bellglade, FL; five grandchildren, Benjamin Jackson, Stockbridge, GA, and Steven, Alexja, Cheyanne, and Melayna Jackson, all of Frederick, MD; devoted nieces, Denise Thompson, Trukisha Bussey, and LaSharna Jackson; devoted nephews, DeWayne, Michael, Brent, and William Jackson; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonita Jackson; four sisters, Grace Hoy, Alysia Jackson, Bernice Jackson, and Catherine Jackson; and two brothers, Richard Jackson and Charles Stanton.
