Dorothy Graham, of Baltimore, MD, entered into eternal rest on October 28, 2015, at the Ellicott City Nursing Facility. She was born July 1, 1925, to the late Hugh and Minnie Graham. Dorothy was the 2nd of seven children. \n\nDorothy received her education in the Baltimore City School System. At an early age she joined Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where she served as the church secretary under the pastorate of Rev. Hiram E. Smith. She recently renewed her membership at Mt. Lebanon and was in regular attendance until she was no longer able to attend. \n\nDorothy loved to read and write letters. When the whole world was using the telephone, Dorothy was busy writing letters. Even after she was unable to get around by herself, her frequent request was - "get me some stamps; I need to write some letters."\n\nDot, as she is affectionately known, made many friends on her journey and many of them never forgot her. They would drive long distances to bring her gifts of food and spend time with her. She was gifted at giving you a great big smile, while at the same time letting you know she was still in charge. \n\nDorothy leaves to cherish her memory, two brothers, Carl Graham (Eleanor) and William Graham (Doris), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Graham; sister, Martha; and three brothers, Joseph, Hubert, and Harry Graham.
