Eunice (McClain) Boyd-Wilder, 79, was born March 1, 1936, in Charlotte, NC, to the late Freddie Weathers and the late Ashley McClain Fulwiley. Eunice departed her earthly body and ascended into Heaven on June 26, 2015, at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center in Frederick, MD. She was the only child born to Freddie and Ashley. \n\nEunice attended Second Ward High School in Charlotte, NC. She left Charlotte at the age of 25 and headed to New York to start a new life. After moving from New York to New Jersey, she was employed as Lead Person at Vornado Inc. in Passaic, NJ, from May 1971 to June 1981. In 1981, Eunice decided to give the South another try. She moved back to Charlotte, NC, where she found employment at Charlotte Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in the Dept. of Environmental Services. She worked at the hospital from Dec. 1981 until May 1985. Not one to be still or become too complacent, she decided to move back to NJ. Always able to find a job, she found employment with the East Orange NJ School District. She worked for the school system until she finally decided to retire in July 2009.\n\n Eunice loved serving others, which she showed by always having a good ole fashion meal prepared. She loved shopping for others just as much as she did for herself. Eunice was always full of laughter and fun. She loved dancing and even after having a hip replacement amongst other illnesses, she was able to twist and turn about to the music even though she needed to use a walker. Nothing stopped her and she was definitely a fighter. She always believed that whatever you do in life make sure you do it with dignity and always keep your head held high. Although she wasn't much for words, she had a big heart and her actions definitely shown loud and clear. She loved gospel songs, and she especially loved to dress up in her beautiful suits, classy purses and shoes. \n\nThose left to cherish her memories are her husband, Milton Wilder of East Orange, NJ; two children, Calvin Wilson (Bridgett) of Charlotte, NC and Christina Boyd-Brown (Ubrazine aka UB) of Frederick, MD; four grandchildren, Crystal L.
