Frank Raymond Hoy

Mr. Frank Hoy Sr., 76, of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018. Born April 10, 1942 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Carroll E. Hoy, Sr. and the late Mary Linda Graham Hoy. He was also the step-son of the late Vinnie M. Hoy. Frank was the husband of Gloria Brown Hoy.

Mr. Hoy worked as a mason and was an avid Redskins fan. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Along with his wife, Mr. Hoy is survived by: two sons, Timothy Thomas (Roslynn) and Frank Hoy Jr. (Ivory) of Frederick, MD; step-children, Charlotte E. Baker and Smith E. Baker, of New Jersey; two sisters, Ann Hoy Jones of Union Bridge, MD and Tranessa Hoy Snowden of Frederick, MD; five brothers, Joseph Thomas (Kathy) of Middletown, MD, Jerome Thomas of West Virginia, Wayne Hoy Sr., Darryl Hoy, and Raymond Hoy, all of Frederick, MD; brother-in-law, Warren G. Brown; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; dear friend and employer, Mike Tauraso; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hoy was preceded in death by: two sisters, Patricia Hoy and "Baby Angel" Hoy; five brothers, Lester Eugene Hoy, James Hoy, Carroll Hoy Jr., and James Thomas Sr.; grandparents, Daniel Raymond Hoy, Annie Elizabeth Disney Hoy, John Graham and Edna Graham.

Funeral services for Mr. Hoy will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD 21703 at 11 AM, with public viewing at 9:30 AM. The family will receive friends at 10 AM. Interment will follow services at Woodville Methodist Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD. Pastor Todd Rigney will officiate.
