Jahlil Milo Norris Obituary (2014 - 2020)

Jovanni Durant Norris (JoJo), age 6, and his little brother, Jahlil Milo Norris, age 5, were both called home to be with the Lord way too soon. Our angels departed this life on Monday, January 6, 2020. Jovanni was born on June 2, 2013 and Jahlil was born on April 23, 2014 in Frederick, MD. Both boys attended school at Mars Estates Elementary where Jovanni was in first grade and Jahlil was in kindergarten. They both loved their parents and siblings more than anything. They were also family oriented. Jovanni and Jahlil were always so happy and were filled with so much love and life. The boys enjoyed riding scooters and bikes, playing ball, watching cartoons, and being outdoors. Dancing was the favorite thing they both loved to do. Jovanni and Jahlil had smiles that brightened anyone's day. They were so friendly and just enjoyed being kids. They were perfect sons, as well as great brothers, nephews and cousins. They definitely touched everyone's hearts that they met and will forever leave a mark on anyone who knew them. Their smiles are something no one could ever forget. Jovanni and Jahlil were amazing kids inside and out. They truly were angels. JoJo and Jahlil leave behind to cherish their memories: their mother, Hashemi Al-Haqq; father, Johnny Norris, Jr.; two older brothers, Demyan Dawkins and Janemen Norris; baby brother, J'iannis Norris; little sister, Jermany Norris; grandparents, Maryam Munja, Abdul Aziz, Derek Keyes, Johnny Norris, Sr., and Karmel Gilbert; great grandmother, Shirley A. Keyes; six aunts, Qygesha Mulanena, Bismillah Al-Haqq, Idera Al-Haqq and fiance John Smith, Attilah Al-Haqq, Taniesha Spratt, and Lasonia Gilbert; six uncles, Elmer Smallwood, Tyson Cartnail, Dawud Qwiy, Nahif Adbul, Van Price, and Christian Hill; and numerous cousins and other relatives. The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, love, support, and condolences, as well as donations. It is truly appreciated.
