Frederick, Maryland
Jaion Antonio Penamon (Doo Doo), 21, of Frederick, MD, was taken away from this world on December 26, 2021. Born October 14, 2000, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Turquoise Brown and James Ernest Penamon, and the stepson of Kevin Mullen.
Jaion graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 2019. It was there that Jaion's love of basketball shined bright, being an avid player not only on his high school team but other organizations as well. He was also a member of the local Big Brother and Big Sister Program, in which he made an everlasting friendship with mentors Brian and Theresa. Jaion was a loving and devoted son, brother, and uncle.
He was a positive role model to his peers and family by being a person of integrity, compassion, and determination. He was employed at Ecology Service Company as a recycle collector, where his coworkers spoke highly of him. He was a young man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and, most of all, being with his family. He had a smile that would lighten up any room.

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear a jersey!!!! Proverbs 22 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children, Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
