James Austin Fitzgerald was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was born November 29, 1979, at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, to Joyce Fitzgerald. James attended Meyers Elementary School and Garnett Patterson Middle School in Washington, DC. He graduated from Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, MD.\n\nJames held various jobs including Giant Food and World Market. He was very well known for his beautiful personality, thoughtfulness, and kind spirit. James loved the Washington Redskins and Sundays were always fun and competitive in the Fitzgerald's house. He was most happy and content when he spent time with his children and family. James was a loving son, a loyal brother, a wonderful father, and a trusted friend. He was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Fat Boy". \n\nJames was very popular and well-known with the ladies. He strived to keep his family together and was dedicated to seeing his children grow and prosper. His love for life, dedication to his family, and wonderful spirit will forever be missed and can never be replaced. \n\nJames leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving mother, Joyce Fitzgerald; two brothers, Dexter and Tony Fitzgerald; three sons, Savon, Kenyon, and Ethan Fitzgerald; three daughters, Da'Jaonna and Zoe Mary Fitzgerald, and J'Rya Neal; five aunts; two uncles; and a host of loving and devoted family members and friends.
