Jeffrey Allen Williams, 64, of Fairfax, VA, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Thurs., Jan. 26, 2017. He was born June 4, 1952, in Chicago, to Geraldine Williams and the late John Williams; and was the husband of Joyce B. Williams for 26 years.\n\nJeff was a Vietnam War veteran who served in both the Air Force and the US Marine Corps. He also worked as a civilian employee for Military Traffic Management Command, Martin Marietta, and other government contractor agencies. He was a 1970 graduate of Frederick High School where he earned the name "rubber band man" on an award winning track team. He later received a master's degree from George Mason University. \n\nHe leaves to cherish is memory his devoted wife, Joyce B. Williams; mother, Geraldine Williams; in-laws, Charles and Bernice Pryor; daughter, Angela Williams, CA; stepdaughter, Catherine Champion, VA; grandchildren, Rashad Kearney, Destiny Williams, and Damion Williams; great-grandchild, Emiliano Gonzalez; step grandchildren, Bradley C. Dorsey, Darrian C. Champion, and Kaliyah J. Champion; brother, Christopher Williams; sister, Laura Jones; nephew, Sergeant First Class Jeffery Jones (Antoinette); great nieces and nephew, Ja'niya, Ja'nae and Xavien; and a host of family and friends. \n\nServices will be held on Fri., Feb. 3, 2017, at Jackson Chapel UMC, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD, with a viewing at 9:30 a.m., family hour at 10:00 a.m., and the funeral at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at www.garylrollinsfuneralhome.com.
