Kashonda L. George Obituary (1977

Kashonda "Shonda" Lakisha George, 41, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, MD surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Frederick, MD on July 21, 1977 to Jerry and Sylvia George. She graduated from Rock Creek School in 1999. Shonda loved music, dancing and had a huge collection of CDs. Two of her favorite musical artists were Beyonce and Trey Songz. Shonda always enjoyed going on vacations and staying at various hotels. She loved to go shopping and getting her hair and nails done. She was always extra excited about Christmas and having her annual birthday party. Left to cherish Shonda's memory are her: devoted mother, Sylvia George of Frederick, MD; siblings, Terry Perkins (Twyla) of Emmitsburg, MD, Sabrena Wooten (Stan) of Stafford, VA, Berry Williams of Greensboro, NC, Carmen Ambush (Allen) of Frederick, MD, and Tamika George-Desta (Yafet) of Frederick, MD; aunts and uncles, Charles Lee Weedon (Lucille), Sandra King (Harold), Carolyn Weedon, Patricia Weedon-Prince, Sterling Weedon, Mack George, Emma Jean George, and Tayranda Weedon, nieces and nephews, Stanley Wooten, Jr. (Katina), Shalonda Wooten-Smith (Travanti), Shantel Perkins, Jeffrey Bryan, Kieara Meeks, Errance Meeks, Jr., Adaria Williams, Berry Williams, II, Messiah Yafet-Desta, Maya Yafet-Desta, Kadence Ambush, and Mariah Yafet-Desta; 5 great nieces; 2 great nephews; numerous cousins and a host of friends, including devoted friends Lonnie, Salem, Missy, Lisa, Sheila, Desi, Jenn, Erica B., and Erica B. Shonda was preceded in death by her father, Jerry S. George; paternal grandparents, Solomon and Beatrice George; maternal grandparents Lee Charles and Louise Weedon; uncles Sterling Weedon, Robert Weedon McGowan and Larry Weedon; and aunts, Sharon Weedon and Keisha Weedon.
