LaTysha Whiten Obituary (1992 - 2015)

Ms. LaTysha M. Whiten, 23, of Frederick, MD, entered eternal rest on Sat., June 6, 2015, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born March 31, 1992, LaTysha was the daughter of Thomas and Sheila Wooten of Houston, TX. LaTysha resided in Frederick, MD, with her surrogate grandfather, Eugene Henderson. Surviving in addition to her parents and surrogate grandfather are daughters, Amari and Anyia Davis, both of Frederick; brothers, James T. Harrison, Jr., of Frederick, MD, LaDanes Brightful of Houston, TX, and Joshua M. Harrison of Frederick, MD; grandfather, John B. Boyce; great-great grandmothers, Betty Whiten Green and Debbie Boyce; and numerous great uncles, great aunts, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. She also leaves behind her devoted best friend, Angelique "Sunshine" Matos. LaTysha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Charlene M. Whiten; great uncles, Dwight White and Charles Whiten; and aunt, Terri Boyce-Morris. Funeral services will be held on Weds., June 10, 2015, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 101 W. All Saints St., Frederick, MD, with viewing at 9 a.m., the family receiving friends at 10 a.m., and the funeral at 11 a.m. Rev. Rex Bowens officiating.
