Margaret "Octavia" Webb was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 25, 1925 as the second child to Odell Culley and Adelaide Dennis. She was the second child of five other siblings who have all passed before her, which included 2 sisters and three brothers. Octavia passed on to the heavenly kingdom on September 10, 2020.\r\n\r\nOctavia graduated from Frederick Douglas High School on June, 1943 and attended Cortex Peters Business school in Baltimore. Octavia married one of her previous classmates of Douglas High, Bernard Carlton Booker, on June 29, 1946. From this marriage, she had three children, Chonita, Anthony and John Earl. Her first marriage ended in the death of her husband who died in 1957. She later married twice afterward and unfortunately both husbands passed during their marriages which left Octavia as a widow ever since.\r\n\r\nOctavia worked all of her life as a secretary or an administrative assistant. She retired from the State of Maryland, where she last worked at Morgan State University. Octavia was the president of St. Bernardine's Catholic Church Women's Club 3 times where she helped start the first Women's Day at the church in 1975. Octavia worked with many women of the club to raise money to support the needs of the church which she loved.\r\n\r\nOctavia was a great mother and sibling. She loved life and loved to party with family and friends. Octavia was noted to stay on the dance floor forever dancing in her high heels. She loved taking trips to all parts of the country and the Caribbean. Octavia was able to take her last voyage on a cruise to the Caribbean in March, 2018.\r\n\r\nOctavia leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Chonita Booker-Tindall; son-n-law, James Tindall; grandson, John Ear Booker, Jr.; great-granddaughters, Amearrah Booker, Jonashia Booker, and Je'Nyiah Mitchell; great-grandson, John L. Booker; great great-grandson, Taylen Booker and many loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
