Marsellous Andrew Gordon (Selly) was born on January 11, 2001 in Rockville, MD. He was the son of Sabrina Gray and Effrem Gordon Sr. Selly entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 22, 2020. He graduated from Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, MD. Selly worked as an Assistant Manager for Fishbowl Swim School in Redbank, NJ. In his spare time Selly enjoyed traveling and spending time in D.C. He was well mannered, very respectful, and always showed discipline and determination. Selly was a process, performance, and outcome type of young man. His greatest achievements were teaching over 1,000 students from the age infancy to elderly how to swim with confidence. Selly was a self-taught entrepreneur that became a small business owner. He believed in working hard, always being on time, and making a good first impression. Marsellous was a man of his word. His most prized possession was his car. He drove a 2015 Chrysler 300 with limo tints. He took pride in keeping his car clean, loved to back it in when parking and squill wheels when leaving. Selly will be remembered as a loving son and brother. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: mother, Sabrina Gray; father, Effrem Gordn Sr.; older brother, Effrem Gordon Jr.; little sister, Onnica Gordon, significant other of three years, Sofia Sakhii; uncles, Charles Edward Gray of D.C, Tony Jackson of Silver Spring, Humphrey (Marilyn) Gray of Gaithersburg, David (Susie) Gray of Pennsylvania, Foster of Jackson, MS, and ED (Colleen) Gordon of Baltimore; aunts, Deborah Jones of Gaithersburg; Aunt Terry and Aunt Deidre Hairston of Chantilly,VA, and a large host of cousins that he loved. Selly was preceded in death by: older sister, Arena Gordon; maternal grandparents, Mod and Auburn Gray; paternal grandparents, Thelma and Edward Lee Gordon, and his Uncle Marvin.
