Marshall "Dale Carter, 67, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on October, 17, 2017. He was born June 18, 1950, to the late Robert Carter and Annie Shae. Dale grew up in Baltimore and later moved to Frederick. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. \n\nDale loved the Ravens, Orioles, hot sauce and a cold Bud Light. He was always quick to smile and joke with everyone and loved to make them laugh. \n\nAlong with Dale's fiancee, Mary Lou Barlow, left to cherish his memory are: his daughters, Deena Carter-Vetri and husband Michael Vetri and Carrie Carter-Hoskins and husband Tony Hoskins; brothers, Wayne Shae, Robert Carter and Gary Carter; sister, Priscilla Hardtke; grandchildren, Lauren Carter, Sydney Strine and Brooke Hoskins; and a host of family members and friends, to include Mary Lou's daughter Desi and grandson Dustin who were also a very special part of Dale's life. Dale was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Dale Carter, Jr., and sister, Diana Peddicord. He will be greatly missed. \n\nThe family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at the Frederick Memorial Hospital, Vindobona Rehabilitation and Glade Valley Nursing Home for their love, care and compassion. \n\nInterment will be at Garrison Forest Cemetery at a later date and time.
