Maurice Holland

Mr. Maurice Holland, 70, of Frederick and Pennsylvania passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born March 8, 1945, in Frederick MD, to the late Lee and Catherine Holland.

He leaves to cherish his memory five daughters, Tina Holland, Melissa Otero, Paris Rodriguez, Stephanie Ramirez, and Allysia Morgan; two sons, Edmund Smith and Shaun Smith; three sisters, Frances Hargrove, Margaret Starke, and Maxine Pearson; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Maurice was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonita Holland; son, Maurice Holland, Jr.; and siblings, Bessie Smothers, James Holland, and Joe Holland. The family sends a special thank you to Laverne Holland and Edmond Smith.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home, 110 W. South Frederick, MD, with a public viewing at 9 a.m., family hour at 10 a.m., and the funeral at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at www.garylrollinsfuneralhome.com.
