Maxzine Worsham Obituary (1962 - 2020)

On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, Maxzine Emma Worsham, loving mother of two children, passed away at age 58. Maxzine was born on April 2, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA to Eugene and Maxine Bailey. She received her bachelor's degree from the La Salle University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and excelled in the field of Information Technology. On June 20, 1987, she married Leonard George Worsham Jr. Maxzine and Leonard were married for 25 years and raised two sons, Leonard III 27 years old and Sean 17 years old. She was an exceptional mother and was the heartbeat of their family, she maintained a special relationship with her sons father, celebrating many activities together including vacations with their sons. Maxzine's passion was her son's, believing and supporting their utmost ambitions, she also loved her family deeply. Maxzine also enjoyed sports, but most of all her Philadelphia 76ers basketball team. She was also an avid music lover and a collector of Michael Jackson memorabilia. She was known for her quick wit, and always expressed her true feelings, but deep down she had a truly kind and compassionate spirit. Maxzine was preceded in death by her father, Eugene. She is survived by her ex-husband Leonard Jr., their two children, Leonard III, and Sean, her mother Maxine, brother Eugene and sister Regina and several nieces, and a nephew. A family only funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at Gary L.
