Ashley Nikol Smith Obituary (1989 - 2012)

Ashley Nikol Smith, 22, and baby Lyric Herrera were called home to be with the Lord on Friday August 3, 2012. Born September 18, 1989, Ashley was the beloved daughter of Ronald and Kurtrinna Smith of Frederick, MD.She was also the loving and devoted mother of Peyton Hammond, of Frederick, MD. Ashley is survived by her fiancA Willie Herrera of Frederick, MD. In addition, Ashley is survived by her two sisters Latasha Smith of Germantown, MD and Kennedy Smith of Frederick, MD; her paternal grandparents Judy Smith of Gaithersburg, MD, Ronald (Sr.) and Carol Smith of Clarksburg; maternal grandparents Nedra McCann and Calvin Lee, of Montgomery Village, MD and Robert McCann, of Dallas, TX; Uncle Michael Smith (Latrina) of Frederick, MD; Aunt Nikki McCann, of Germantown, MD and Aunt Kendra Brightful (James) of Frederick, MD; godbrother Jaziah Brightful of Frederick, MD; nephews Marcus Quinn and Tre Stott of Germantown, MD; and niece Jordyn Stott of Germantown, MD. She will be remembered by a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles. Homegoing services will be held August 9, 2012 at Jackson Chapel UMC, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, MD 21703.Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., with the family hour at 10:00 a.m., and funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are being coordinated by the Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home.
