Opal Jones

Mother Opal "Nana" Jones 90 of Frederick MD, went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2014. She was born March 10, 1924, in Ft. Worth, TX. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lula Brooks.

Nana leaves to cherish her memory, son, Michael Malloy; grandchildren, Michelle (Brenden), LaShan (Daryl), Bobby, Kundu, and Chantelle (Ellis); great grandchildren, Michael, Dwayne, Jasmine, Robby, Marcus, Elexsis, Sahara, and Quinton; devoted, honorary family members, Shirley Grier, Larry and Mabel Gee , Pam Morris, and Parker Bell; and a host of good friends. Mother Jones was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, daughter, Vivian, and grandson, Kundu.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home, 110 W. South St., Frederick, MD. Public viewing will be at 9 a.m., family will receive friends at 10 a.m., and the funeral will begin at 11 a.m.
