Paula V. Ambush

Miss. Paula V. Ambush, 57, of Frederick, MD, peacefully entered eternal rest on August 23, 2016, at her home. She was the daughter of Paul F. Ambush, Sr. and the late Thelma L. Ambush.

Paula graduated from Frederick High School in 1977. While attending Frederick High she was a cheerleading captain. She also attended Parsons School of the Arts, Montgomery College, Howard University, University of Maryland and American Type Culture Collection. Paula was employed with her brother as a Computer Operator for three years, Kemp Biotechnologies, Inc. and Fort Detrick for 21 years. She enjoyed making jewelry by hand, paintings, sketching and traveling.

In addition to her father she is survived by her son, Dashuan L. Smith; siblings, Paul F. Ambush, Jr. (Jacqueline), Ellicott City, MD, and Charlene L. Ambush, Frederick, MD; nephew, Matthew A. Ambush; niece, Ebony S. Ambush; uncle, Paul Leeks (Alice), Capital Heights, MD; aunt, Rebecca Saunders, Frederick, MD; Godchildren, Anthony Clay, Jr. and Elise R. Wars; devoted friends, Elaine and the Wars Family, Shelby Carmon, Stephanie Markel, and Dwight Hill; and a host of cousins, family and friends. Paula was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lindsay and Margaret Ambush; maternal grandparents, Charles and Lula Foreman; and nephew, Paul F. Ambush III.
