Pauline Onley

Pauline V. Onley, age 76, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away March 11, 2024, at Frederick Health Hospital. Born October 10, 1947, she was the daughter of late Ella and Leroy Myers.

Pauline met and married her best friend, Donald Onley in 1984. They remained happily married for 40 years until the time of her death. They enjoyed travelling all over the country. One of their favorite destinations was Disney World. They also travelled to Niagara Fall, St. Louis, MO and Nashville, TN to name a few. You could say they were local as well as national travelers. They were known to drive to most places and enjoyed the scenic views along the way. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

Pauline was a member of the Dorsey Chapel Church. Her church life was very important to her, and she was an active member. She participated in many of the auxiliaries.

Surviving are two sisters, Delisia Dorsey and Dorothea Bowie (Ellsworth); brother, Lonnie Johnson; and six grandchildren. She will also be remembered by a host of relatives and friends.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Emma Jean Myers.

You left a beautiful memory, A sorrow too great to be hold, but to us who loved and lost you, your memory will never grow old. Gone is the face we loved so dear, silent is the voice we loved to hear, too far away from sight or speech, but not far for thoughts to reach. But looking back in tenderness, along the path we trod, we bless the years we spent with you, and leave the rest to God.
