Porscha Ambush Obituary (1981 - 2023)

Porscha L. Ambush aka "Warrior", 41, went home to be with her heavenly father on April 23, 2023, after a long illness at the Frederick Health Hospital. Born September 22, 1981, she was the daughter of Fay Lyles and Eugene "PeeWee" Ambush. She worked for many nursing homes. She became a member of Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church on October 29, 2022, and was baptized by Pastor Rex Bowens. Porscha was loved by many; she changed her life around and gave it all to the Lord. Porscha leaves to cherish her memory: son, Travis Bowins, Jr., (Cheyenne) whom she loved very much; mother, Fay Lyles; father, Eugene "PeeWee" Ambush; sister, Carina Ambush; grandfather; Bishop Merle Lyles, aunts, Marilyn Lyles and Brenda Jackson (Jack), and Mary Frances Ambush; uncles, Gregory Lyles (Lillian), Wayne Lyles, and Meryl Ambush; niece, Nyiera Pantin; nephew, Timothy Helms, Jr. and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her: grandmother, Mary Lyles and Bessie Ambush; grandfather, Charles Ambush; aunts Edna "Fats" Weedon, Margaretta Weedon, Betty Jane Ambush and Dorothy Ambush; uncles; Charles "Pud" Ambush, James Ambush Edward "Joe" Ambush, and cousin, Aaron Smallwood, Jr. that she missed so very much. We would like to thank Nikki Sappington who stayed beside Porscha's bedside to the end, Corleda Naylor, Trazarra Fisher, Tamara Lyles, Kiesha Harper, Cassandra Dorsey and Elijah. Porscha was a fighter and she fought to the end until God called her home. A celebration of Porscha's life will occur soon.
