Shaunte Lynae Dorsey, was peacefully called home to the Lord on April 14, 2018. She was born May 13, 1991 to Simone L. Coleman and Anthony D. Dorsey. She attended Watkins Mill High School in Montgomery County, where she was a member of the Step-Team. Shaunte was very outgoing, full of joy and laughter, and when she made up her mind to do something, it was DONE! Her favorite thing to do was cooking, and eating. If you went to her Facebook page you would have seen many of her masterpieces. Shaunte was also a very talented designer, as she would design fabulous collages for family and friends. \n \nShaunte adored her son Elontae Barnes, whom she spent every waking minute with. If you seen one, then the other was close by. She enjoyed teaching him everything from walking, talking, brushing his teeth, and yes he was her life. Her favorite color was Hunter Green and she loved her oldies-but-goodies.\n\nIn addition to her son, Shaunte leaves to mourn her memory: two brothers, Anthony Dorsey Jr. and Travis Dorsey, both of Gaithersburg MD; a niece, Gizzella Dorsey, of Gaithersburg MD; grandparents, George and Phyllis Timpson, of Damascus MD and Barbara Dorsey, of Mt. Airy, MD and a host of loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Basil Dorsey.
