Sheilah Ann Dorsey Obituary (1962

Mrs. Sheilah Ann Dorsey, born May 5, 1962 to Alverta "Virginia" Woodyard and the late Roby Myers of Frederick, MD departed this life on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Sheilah was a loving wife to her husband Gerald Dorsey of 35 years. She attended Glenelg High School in in Howard County, MD. In the early 90's she worked at White Star and maintained a career in the restaurant industry for years. Sheilah loved cooking; especially for her family. She loved the Lord and attended Strong Tower Christian Church where she would worship. She was also an avid watcher of Young and the Restless and loved playing lottery scratch offs. In addition to her husband Gerald and mother Alverta, Sheilah leaves to cherish her memory; two sons, Craig Myers and Gerald Dorsey, Jr. (Patience); step-father, Edgar Woodyard; five grandchildren, Ayanna Myers, Kyasia Dorsey, Giovanni Dorsey, Kingston Myers, and Alyah Lee Myers; three sisters, Deborah "Debbie" Taylor (Irvin), Sherry Weedon (Noonan) and Kimberly "Kim" Edmonds; two brothers, Darryl Myers (Cherry) and Reginald "Reggie" Myers (Jackie) all of Frederick; her best friend, Bonnie Marshall of Montgomery County; eleven nieces, Angel, Ciara, Lashida, Kiki, Ashley, Christina, Jasmine, Andrea "Day Day", Heaven, Malika and Jessy; seven nephews, Andre, Reginald "RJ", Darell, Malik, Camron, Darryl and Wanya. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chris Myers and nephew, David Morris.
