Sonpon Osobo Nimley Obituary (1967

Sonpon Nimley, 50, died suddenly May 4, 2018 at Washington Adventist Hospital in Silver Springs, MD. He was born October 15, 1967 in Monrovia, Liberia to the late Sieh Sonpon and Martha Doe. Sonpon worked as a successful Customs Broker in Liberia before moving to Ghana, where he lived for three years. He then moved to the United States to be with his wife and three children. He and Jannie welcomed a forth child in 2017, Jacqueline Nimley, whom they refer to as their "Blessing from God!" Sonpon was a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother, thoughtful uncle, wonderful grandfather and a humble friend. He is going to be greatly missed. Sonpon is survived by: his wife, Jannie Henry-Nimley; three children, Thomas Nimley, Nimietta Nimley, Sonpon Nimley, II and Jacqueline Nimley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents Sieh Sonpon and Martha Doe, Sonpon is preceded in death by: his brother, Alexander Sonpon, Sr. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Gary L.
