Frederick, Maryland
Steven Howard Parker departed this earthly life on Monday, November 7, 2022. The world became a brighter place when he, the youngest of three, was born on November 17, 1964, to Kenneth W. Parker Sr., and LaVerne Mallory Parker of Frederick, MD.
He loved sports and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. A graduate of Frederick High School, his nickname was "Muffin" and was recognized for his sportsmanship and success in football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling.
His previous employers included East Alco, Tamko, and the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where he served as a correctional officer for several years before working part-time at several other positions due to his health.
Many referred to him as "Stevie" or "Parker," as he was known for his radiant smile, charismatic personality, and contagious laugh. You could always count on him to remember special occasions to include birthdays and anniversaries. He attended church, loved the Lord and enjoyed listening to gospel music. His prior membership included Mt. Zion AME Church under the pastoral leadership of the late Reverend Richard Dyson in Knoxville, MD.
While he loved to surround himself with family and friends, his greatest joy was spending time with beloved daughters, Danielle and Darselle.

Parker Jr. (LeWyann) and Bryan A. Parker; aunt, Francis Coleman (Jimmy); best friends, Timothy Brown, Dwayne Jenkins (Dee), Robert Naylor Jr., William Brown, and Jerry Sewell; and numerous cousins.
