Temperance Lyles Obituary (1962 - 2014)

On January 22, 2014, Temperance (Nettie) Lyles was called home. Born in Rockville, MD, Nettie was the fourth child born to Samuel Leroy Twyman and Myrtle S. Twyman. She also attended elementary and high school in Rockville. Nettie was a certified home health aide which she chose to become because she loved people, young and old alike. She chose private duty because she loved giving that personal touch, her touch, which there was nothing like it in this world. Once you were touched by her, you would be forever changed. She was so full of life that it was intoxicating. Her laugh and rambunctiousness was out of this world. Nettie met and married James A. Lyles in Rockville, MD and later moved to Atlanta, GA with her children. She loved friends, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Nettie was predeceased by her father Samuel Leroy Twyman. In addition to her husband, Nettie is survived by; one daughter, Katrina S. Twyman, Atlanta, GA; one son, Randy M. Twyman (Mazie), Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Taryn Opal S. Vargas and Faith S. Twyman; mother, Myrtle S. Twyman; two sisters, Carrie Vinson and Amy Twyman; five brothers, Alan, Samuel Jr. (Debbie), Neal, Stanley (Misty) and Scott (Denise) Twyman; a devoted cousin, Glenda Vinson; special niece, Kiara (Pappoose) Twyman; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
