Tequilla Weedon

–

Gaithersburg , Maryland

Tequilla La'nae Weedon affectionately known as "TK" born to Steven Weedon Sr. and Iris Frasier on March 14, 1989 was called home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2021. She was educated in the Montgomery County Public School System and graduated from Damascus High School in June 2007 and later obtained a CNA certificate. She loved helping those in need.

In 2013 God blessed her with her 1st child, Robert Hunter (Rah-Rah). A year later she welcomed into this world, her daughter, Peyton Weedon-Hunter (Pey-Pey). If anyone knew TK, then you know she adored her two beautiful children. She would do anything under the sun for those two. She was an amazing mother.

Tequilla had multiple jobs throughout the years. She was employed at Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (Men's shelter) and Interfaith Works at the time of her passing. She loved the work she did there. She relished the thought of being able to help others. She was a perfect fit for the homeless community in which she worked. She showed up to work each and every day hoping to make a difference in someone's life, which she did in a multitude of ways. The clients loved TK.

She had a special soul. She was a loving child of God, and a ray of light to many. TK had an infectious laugh, a smile to light up a room and was the life of the party. Spending time with family and friends was one of her favorite things to do. She really enjoyed dancing. If you knew TK, you know my girl could cut-a-rug! She was light on her feet and one of few who could last all night on the dance floor. TK enjoyed many things in life which included, shopping, (she had a thing for fashion, especially SHOES) hanging out with friends, family, her children and entertaining. She shared a bond with her father that couldn't be broken and although she had siblings, she shared a special bond with all of her cousins, even calling Manika her 'sister.'

Tequilla was such a jokester. Always cracking jokes and making those around her laugh. She even played a few April fools jokes just hours before her untimely passing. Her presence will truly be missed!

Tequilla leaves to cherish her precious memories; two children, Robert Hunter and Peyton Weedon-Hunter; parents, Iris Frazier and Steven Weedon Sr.; stepmother, Hazel Weedon; one sister, Sha'Day Frazier; five brothers, Dominique Frazier (Angela), Scott Adkins, Tavis Black, Tayvon Weedon and Tevon Weedon; grandparents, Rosie Frazier, George Weedon Sr. and Mary Weedon; one niece, Shianne Frazier; six aunts, Shray Goodrich (Eugene), Shawn Frazier, Joyce Neal (Tyrone), Cynthia Brunner, Sharon Brunner and Cheryl Walker; four uncles, Jeffery Adkins, Robert Brunner (Gilda), Tracy King and George Weedon (Debra); God parents, Clarence and Sharon Tyler-Morris; two God sisters, Keyonna and Teyonna Queen; two God brothers, Terrence and Michael Tyler; three God children, Rashod Morris (who she called 'Son'), Nyla Johnson and Kehlani Aheart; and her life-long besties as she referred to as her BFF's, Abdul (Du-Du), Tanika, Tasha, Shaila and Kiana.

Tequilla was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Weedon Jr.; grandmother, Virginia "Gates" Weedon; uncle, Reggie Addison; aunt, Angie Addison and cousin, Shakeisha Addison.
