Tiajana Evette James was born to Barbara Snipes and Grayling Albert on December 30, 1983 in Columbus, Ohio. She entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 19, 2019. At the age of 5, she moved to Portsmouth, Virginia, where she spent the majority of her life and attended Portsmouth Public Schools. Tiajana relocated to Frederick, Maryland, and was employed as a care manager at Heartfields Assisted Living; she was well loved and respected by the residents and staff. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Tiajana would light up a room with her presence and was always willing to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. Everyone loved her humble demeanor, and the way she refrained from passing judgement, but she always "kept it real". Tiajana leaves behind her daughter Arionna Carter of Frederick, MD, mother Barbara Snipes of Frederick, MD, father Grayling Albert of Columbus, OH, sister Laronda Albert of Frederick, MD, brother Keith James of Portsmouth, VA, grandmother Shirley Tate of Frederick, MD, a devoted friend Elijah Cherry, and a host of family and friends.
