Timothy Darnell Thompson

Timothy Darnell Thompson departed this life on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown.

Born on July 8, 1961 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Little. Timmy was a Frederick High School graduate with the class of 1979. He was employed with Ford Motor Company in Gaithersburg shortly after graduation for 3 years. He was also employed with FCPS Food and Nutrition for 17 years.

Timmy enjoyed being in the company of family. He loved the Redskins and dancing to Michael Jackson. He could truly dance.

Timmy is survived by his: daughter, Teela Thompson; two sons, Rodney Dorsey (Keyannas) and Isiah Thompson; two sisters, Robin Hill (Monte) and Tammy Thompson; four brothers, Allen Green, Stephen Thompson (Cheryl), William Thompson (Tina), and Gary Thompson; five grandchildren, Jamauri Thompson, Durrell Thomas Jr., Ricole Dorsey, Ryheim Dorsey, and Azariah Dorsey; two aunts, Helen Hall and Serena Brown; two uncles, Lawrence Green (Joann) and Richard Strawder (Patricia); seven nephews; three nieces; a host of cousins and friends; and devoted friends, Tony Jackson and David Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his special friend, Linda Snowden.
