Celebrating the Life and Legacy
Troy was born on January 22, 1989, in Rockville, MD to Kimilie and John Ellison and entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2024.
Troy received his education through MCPS, but graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in WV. Troy was employed by MCPS for 15 years. He was a hard worker and was adored by his workmates. He left MCPS and started working for FedEx where he pursued his dream to become a truck driver.
Troy loved football and was a TRUE BLUE Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed charter boat fishing. He would always talk trash about catching the most fish or the biggest fish, always competitive in a fun way. Troy loved his motorcycle and 4wheeling. From a little kid, Troy would eat rice and carnation milk, he wanted it every single day. It was his favorite meal. Troy loved to dress, he always had on a fresh pair of Jordans. Always fresh! We used to tease him about dressing like 50 cent, but his favorite rapper was Tupac. His nicknames were Little Handsome and "Baby Boy". Troy had an infectious laugh that will truly be missed.
Troy leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and father, John and Kimilie Ellison; his brother Tony Ellison (Tyrielle), his two sisters Lesha Ellison (Timmy) and Shaneya Demar; his aunts, Viola Allen (Mondale), Morgan Ellison, Chaquita Brown, Patricia Dawkins (Todd), Danielle Chase (Ian), and Dionne Redman. He also leaves to cherish his memory his girlfriend, Ashley Follin and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Troy was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle Kasey and Max Brown, as well as his grandparents and great grandparents, Herman John and Peggy Thomas, John H. Ellison Jr., and Alece Adams, Sylvester and Betty Brown, John and Evelyn Ellison.
