Viola M. Pollock, 95, was called to rest on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Ballenger Creek Center, Frederick, MD. She was born December 2, 1921, in Frederick, MD, to the late Henrietta Ann and Calvin Proctor. \n\nViola attended a little one room school house on Sugar Loaf Mountain. She would go out of her way to help someone else. Viola was a member of Grace AME Church, the Elks Home, and the American Legion of Catonsville, MD. She loved listening to all types of music. \n\nShe leaves to cherish her memory her son, Thomas Pollock, Jr.; daughter, Henrietta Ann Powell (Fred Jr.); grandson, Kevin Leroy Pollock; great great grandson, Miles Gregory and Hunter Gregory; great great great grandson, Ethan Gregory; a dear and beautiful person forever and always, Melanie Brensinger; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pollock, Sr.; and grandson, Carl Vernon Ross, Jr.
