Vontane "Fatty" Jackson Obituary (1964

Vontane Oneida "Fatty" Jackson, 50, passed away peacefully on Sun., March 8, 2015. Born on Apr. 17, 1964, she was the beloved daughter of Clarence Squirrel and Elizabeth M. Ambush. Fatty was born and raised in Frederick, MD, and graduated from Frederick High School, the Class of 1982. She was employed by several nursing homes in the housekeeping department. In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, her twin sister, Oneida V. Thomas (Phil) of Falling Waters, WV, sisters, Sharon R. Jackson of Frederick, MD, Kathy Magruder, Rita Magruder, Wendy Magruder, Wanda Greene, and Marie Magruder; brothers, Tony Magruder and Myron Magruder; step father, Charles Morris; aunts, Delores Ambush, Loretta Offord (Milton), Mary Saunders and other aunts; uncles; nieces, LaPorsh, Cashea, Brazarr, Martice, and Makeya; nephew, Colby; devoted friends, Ethel "Lil Hon" Lee, Charlene Clark, Gina Hanson; and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Alicia L. Jackson and Valerie Diggs; grandmother, Gladys M. Ambush; and grandfather, James "Jim" Jackson. Services will be held on Sat., March 14, 2015, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 101 W. All Saints St., Frederick, MD. Public viewing will be at 9 a.m., family will receive friends at 10 a.m. and the funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Pastor LaDelle Brooks officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery.
